Storm Archer - #SAPTechEd 2013 Speaker of the Week

Lat week, we featured Prasad Illapani, Director of Product Management and Strategy for SAP HANA, as our SAP TechEd Speaker of the Week.  This week's featured speaker is storm.archer, SAP NetWeaver Product Manager and BW Product Expert.  Storm has been an IT professional for almost 30 years, and has worked in IT organizations since 1985.  Before coming to work for SAP, Storm got his first opportunity to implement SAP R/3 as a customer and has not looked back since.  In 2001, he joined SAP as Senior SAP NetWeaver Technical Consultant.  Being part of the roll-out of products from the consulting perspective has led him to join the product management team.

As a former customer himself, Storm is keenly aware of the needs and inclinations of customers and he feels that SAP TechEd is a great venue to create a productive relationship between SAP development teams, himself, and customers:

"Customers want to hear the latest craze right from the mouth of the people who are closest to the product line.  Collaboration is very important throughout the entire segment of TechEd.  Not just collaboration among our colleagues but collaboration among the customers (themselves).  We have a lot of breakout meetings (to offer), and a lot of sessions that we go through".  - Storm Archer
