The SAP TechEd 2013 Speaker of the Week program has hosted diverse speakers covering topics such as Business Intelligence, Real-Time Data Processing, SAP Solution Manager, Product Security and Identity Management, Data Warehousing, User Experience and many more.  This is our final week and I would like to thank all of our superstar speakers:

Mike Eacrett Ingo Hilgefort David Birkenbach Kristian Lehment Peter McNulty Christina Miller Rich Heilman Tammy Powlas Matthias Melich & John Krakowski Sindhu Gangadharan Yariv Zur Prasad Illapani, Storm Archer, Thomas Jung, and Jeff Wootton.

Our final speaker  is ashishc.morzaria, Director of BI Solution Management. Ashish has been with SAP and SAP BusinessObjects for 8 years.  He is a veteran speaker at SAP TechEd, having spoken at 7 previous events on topics such as SAP HANA BI, Virtualization, Cloud Platforms, and product deployment.  For Ashish, SAP TechEd provides an opportunity to learn from the customers and understand the company message from their point of view.  In addition, SAP TechEd provides an unscripted environment where hard questions that don't fit neatly into an email or online forum can be asked and answered.

Ashish started out as a software developer and, despite moving on to solution management, he still has a passion for coding.  In fact, Ashish has set up a complete Virtualization home lab used as a getaway from PowerPoint presentations and Outlook notifications.  For inspiration , Ashish looks to Ice Hockey goalies.  Though they rarely if ever score a goal, they play a full 60 minutes and provide a vital role in bringing victory to their teams.

"So this year at TechEd, we're going to be talking about SAP Lumira, which is all the new HANA based Business Intelligence.  They're going to hear about not only the product but how to use the product as well as how customers already have used the product and how they could do that themselves.  The best part of these types of sessions is at the end of the session I can have a two-way Q&A with the people from the audience and we can give them the right information as well as how other customers have done it". - Ashish Morzaria

Register to SAP TechEd Las Vegas, Amsterdam, and Bangalore to attend Ashish's Hands-On Session, Using SAP Lumira with SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse and SAP HANA, Lecture, Integrating SAP Lumira into Your Existing BI 4 Landscape, and Product Roadmap Q&A, Road Map Q&A: SAP Lumira Suite.

SAP TechEd Host Cities Fun Facts:

Las Vegas - Feeling romantic? A marriage license costs only $60 in Nevada.

Amsterdam - When abroad transportation can be tricky.  In Amsterdam, Canal boats maybe used to travel the different canals of Amsterdam. There are at least 70 canal boats with glass tops that go around the different canals.

Bangalore - Art for the masses:  The Chitrasanthe, or the Art Market, is perhaps the only one of its kind in India, or perhaps in the world.  Its an annual event, where a whole stretch of road is taken over by artists who put up their work for sale on the road platforms.  Its a great way of  making art affordable.
