Ralph Essers is a veteran instructor with SAP Education in the Netherlands. In this short video, Ralph shares his excitement about attending his first-ever SAP TechEd event as well as details on what it’s like to teach SAP solutions such as SAP HANA. He’s clearly enthusiastic to be at the event, which is hosted this year in his home country. According to Ralph, his students’ reaction to learning SAP HANA are very positive overall and that students are keen to embrace this new technology. “It’s an exciting era we are living in now – new technologies, everything is changing super-fast. SAP’s traditional solutions are being updated and can profit a lot from this new technology.”
When asked what he was looking forward to most about being at SAP TechEd Amsterdam, Ralph didn’t hesitate: “ All the innovations – learning about SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud and the Mobility platform, and incorporating these things into my trainings”. What fuels his enthusiasm when he’s teaching in a live or virtual classroom setting is meeting customers every day, Ralph says is always new and exciting. “And we have new technologies every year, as things change at an incredible rate. So you have to adapt your training accordingly. That’s what I like about SAP and SAP Education”.
