I am pleased to announce that my SAP TechEd lecture, “A Comprehensive Introduction to SAP HANA,” has been selected as ‘Lecture of the Week’ for the week of February 15th, 2016.
SAP HANA is a single platform for building holistic end-to-end applications and a foundation for current and future SAP, partner, and customer apps. During this lecture I discuss the changes in technology and current business challenges that make this platform an ideal choice. For the sake of simplicity, the SAP HANA features have been grouped into four "services;" application services, processing services, integration services, and database services. A comprehensive overview of the functionality covered by each of these is highlighted and explained. You will also find an explanation of available deployment options, the most common use case scenarios, and a quick glimpse of the product roadmap.
