Around 100 experts from 58 SAP HANA customers all over in Europe came to Walldorf to attend the 3rd SAP HANA Operation Expert and Developer Summit. They came to provide feedback on how they experience SAP HANA in their daily business.
The two day Summit was packed with expertise, discussions, and networking, see agenda below. In 14 presentations, the HANA Product Team shared current and future developments and presented their SAP HANA topics of interest for customer feedback.
The SAP HANA customers responded in the 24 breakout sessions. The remarks, ideas, and questions which has been contributed will help to improve future releases of the SAP HANA Platform.
As SAP HANA becomes more and more important to use as a development platform, the customers showed a great interest in the new SAP HANA Extended Application Services, Advanced Model (XSA).
Siemens and Roche Diagnostics showcased their SAP HANA installations on stage which was impressive and inspired the audience. Intel presented achievements with SAP HANA on x86 Intel CPUs and provided an outlook on their new 3D XPoint technology.
But most of all, the SAP HANA Summit was valued by the attendees as an opportunity to network, to exchange experiences with other SAP HANA customers and to learn from each other.
The SAP HANA Product Team took away full bags of direct feedback and ideas and now we are happily busy with sorting it out, thank you!

SAP HANA Summits are planned this year for the APJ region. Please watch out for the announcements.

The sumit is fee of charge but do note that space is limited. Each attendance request will be given careful consideration and we will contact you with a confirmation email to attend the event. In case the number of attendance requests will exceed the capacity of the summit, it might become necessary to restrict the number of participants per customer. The event language is English.
