HANA Innovation Award at SAPPHIRE 2016 – call for nominations

It is the 3^rd year of the HANA Innovation Award and this year promises to be very interesting again.

We at SAP like to recognize the awesome things our customers are doing with SAP HANA and SAP HANA Cloud Platform. All eligible customers who have deployed SAP HANA, SAP HANA Cloud Platform or developed an SAP HANA business app can enter for a chance to win prize money for charity and a free pass to SAPPHIRE NOW.

Nominations can be across the following 4 categories:

• Analytics Wizard – Delivering real-time analytics to empower the workforce and customers

• Digital Trailblazer – Harnessing Big Data/the Internet of Things for breakthrough results

• Process Simplifier – Operating business-critical processes in real time

• Next-Gen Apps – Building innovative applications using the SAP HANA Platform or SAP HANA Cloud Platform

I encourage you to share your story - and for inspiration please have a look at the great contributions from High Tech companies in the last 2 Years. Here are some examples:

In 2015:

Dell won 1^st place for their contribution in Analytics with: Dell empowers its sales force with self-service business intelligence solution powered by SAP HANA

Asian Paints won 1^st place in the category of “Process Simplifier” : Asian Paints is Transforming Distribution to drive Excellence in Customer Servicing

NCT with their contribution to cancer research won 1^st place in the category for “Social Hero Innovator”: Everything in one place to fight cancer

T-mobile achieved second place in the category “Big Data Innovator”: Using In-Memory Capabilities to drive better customer engagement and create a competitive advantage
