Did you know that the Help Portal gives you access to topics specific to older SAP IQ releases, and not just documentation for the most current version?
1. From the Help Portal, select Data Management:
2. Under Explore our data management product, scroll down to where you see SAP IQ:
3. Click SAP IQ to see a list of versions:
4. Select 16.0 for the current release, or any of the older release numbers on the list. Once you select an older release number (such as 15.4), you can:
- View the topics in your browser:
- Select a zip file to download the PDFs of all manuals in this release. [If you just want a single PDF, you can download it from the title page, shown below.]
If you click to view the topics in HTML, the link takes you to our Infocenter documentation archive:
If the main frame in the frameset looks empty, scroll down on the left navigation pane until you get to SAP IQ 15.4. The topics list for your selection is pre-expanded to look like a table of contents.
From here, click any topic, or to go the first topic to view the title page:
If you don’t want to load the entire collection of PDFs in a single zip file, you can click View this document as PDF on this title page:
If you have any pre-existing bookmarks to these Infocenter pages, they should all work. Just keep in mind that Infocenter is an archive, and the topics there are not updated. When you upgrade your product version, you also want to update your bookmarks to the current topics in the Help Portal.
