Don’t you detest software that doesn’t work the way it should? Instead of detesting it, it might be better to be testing it instead. Testing is still one of the least appreciated aspects of software implementation, change and development. While comprehensive testing of software has proven to lower risk, protect (mission-critical) business processes and increase quality and user satisfaction.

As part of the Application Lifecycle Management suite, SAP Solution Manager offers a central comprehensive testing platform. Depending on the complexity of your environment, you can scale the way you test your SAP solutions to your needs. SAP Consulting offers a service called ‘Test Management for SAP Solutions’ that can help you get organized and set up test management in Solution Manager to easily and structurally manage your manual testing activities with the Test Workbench. As an option you can even choose to integrate the Test Workbench with SAP Quality Center by HP. 

Experienced test consultants will guide you through the process of defining the necessary strategy, policies and approach for your manual testing activities.  They will configure Solution Manager as the central tool for creating and archiving test cases and managing the testing process. They’ll even help you to setup your test scripts for the first five business process steps you want to test. And, if you use the service during an implementation project for example, execute an initial round of testing with you. We can also setup SAP Quality Center by HP and Sprinter by HP for you, including the configuration of test planning and management processes for business and test requirements in Quality Center.

Service Options

The service is available in two options

• Test Management of manually executed test cases with SAP Solution Manager Test Workbench.
• Test Management of manually executed test cases with SAP Quality Center by HP integrated with SAP Solution Manager.

The Starter Pack flavor of the service will help you get up and running quickly. Within approximately four weeks your software will no longer be detested, but tested instead.
