Thrown to the wolves?

As a complete novice with SAP and a new member of our Basis Team, I found myself thrust into the center of everything by being give the overall ownership of our Solution Manager implementation.  First let me preface what I mean by "complete novice".  By novice, I mean I had heard of SAP and barely knew what it was.  I barely even remembered what ERP meant from my college days.  But being handed the reigns to Solution Manager has been an amazing road of discovery and learning for me.  I have come to appreciate the beauty and complexity that is SAP in general and Solution Manager specifically.  After working with a couple different SAP consultants to get us up and running, I have not only taken full ownership of Solution Manager, but have actually become the teacher and "evangelist" for Solution Manager and its many many moving parts.  I'll use this blog as a log of the trials and tribulations in using, supporting, configuring and evangelizing probably one of the greatest and most complex applications I have ever seen or used.  I look forward to connecting with other users and sharing with them their experiences and knowledge.
