As a part of SAP CSR Month of service, IMS Retail Gurgaon organized an event for children( aged 0-12 years) at construction site, Ansal API, Sector 67, Gurgaon (one of the Mobile crèches NGO Centers). Mobile crèches NGO works for birth – 12 year old children living on the construction sites and slums of Delhi(NCR).
The event started with introduction of the kids along with meaning of their names, bringing out absolutely brilliant and amusing answers. A drawing competition was organized where children showed their creativity, pouring their hearts out. We had an equally wonderful time judging and announcing the winners. Adding to our delight, children voluntarily showcased their talent by singing patriotic songs like 'Jai Bharati' and festive songs like 'Aayi Diwali Aayi Diwali'. It was followed by dance performances on regional songs. We also screened "Chota Bheem" movie, very popular among the kids.
Learning was made fun when we educated through puzzles and fun quizzes. Refreshments, Drawing sketch books, crayon colors, story books and other gifts were distributed to all the kids and prizes to the winners. 'Weighing Scales for Infants' were also given to Mobile Crèches NGO to keep a track of infants' health.
We got a warm farewell and lovely hand-made gifts from the children.
After spending a joyful day with the children, everyone felt contented and delighted :).
