Insights for All: End User Innovation Days

In association with SAP Lumira Innovation Week, End User Innovation Days was an
interactive Vancouver Lab event that focused on information sharing and user feedback, specifically around SAP Lumira. Over the two day event, November 18 and 19, business and technology end users from a variety of customer
organizations participated in product demos, hands-on tutorials, innovation interviews, usability testing, and a customer panel. The sessions provided an opportunity for development teams to gain direct customer insight in a real-time feedback environment. Additionally, it allowed end users to relay key questions and concerns while learning about Lumira and upcoming innovations to help support their analytic and business decision processes. This year’s event was one of the largest hands-on customer engagement initiatives in the Vancouver Lab to date with 27 end users representing seven customer organizations.
Lumira Hands On
The hands-on session was targeted towards users with or without Lumira experience. During the session we worked through an end-to-end business scenario in Lumira. First, we used Lumira to generate a clean dataset by using Lumira’s powerful data preparation and data merging capabilities. Using this dataset, we then created insightful visualizations answering various business questions. Finally, we shared the insights by assembling them into a story and sharing it on Lumira Cloud.
Lumira Inno Sessions
During End User Innovation Days, development teams had a chance to talk to 21 different customers from six different organizations. They used these learnings to help them come up with ideas for their topics during the Lumira Innovation Week.
