SAP BPC Solution (with BW on HANA) with pre-delivered localizations has gone live this September in Inner Mongolia Yitai Group Co., Ltd., the largest private coal enterprise in China, under the efforts of GS Shanghai team and One Service, another joint success of the two teams.
The Solution not only creates a unified platform and improves the efficiency for data collection, consolidation and reporting, but also assures data accuracy and provides strong support to top management’s decision making.
GS FIN BPC Localization team took part in the preliminary work of researching and blueprinting to obtain the first-hand localization needs from the customer and One Service team. Through zero-distance customer engagement, GS FIN BPC Localization team verified various localization needs, and succeeded in pre-delivering one critical function, BPC and OA integration enhancement, contributing to the go-live of the project.
Meanwhile One Service’s project team gave GS FIN Localization BPC team and BPC core product team valuable input of BPC product and new requirements, which help the development team to improve the product in future release.
This BPC implementation project provides GS FIN BPC Localization team with the opportunity to connect their daily work to real customer success. This valuable experience inspires team members to think about how to improve themselves in different roles in development and quality management.
Today a network of BPC localization is set up among GS FIN BPC Localization team, BPC core team, One Service and Field, which lays the foundation for the success in Yitai. All the teams united to share knowledge, exchange experience and finally solve problems together, giving full play to the spirit of One SAP and bringing true values for more Chinese customers.
