SAP fosters an inclusive atmosphere where women employee’s full potential can be realized. And to encourage that, our local Business Women’s Network (BWN)* promotes initiatives in which women and men can participate to share ideas about work life balance, the visibility of female role model at SAP, leadership skills, career development, among others, while also expanding networking.

The SAP Labs Latin America's BWN initiatives include:

- BWN Talk Shows, where women or men in leadership roles can inspire other employees by sharing experiences and giving advice;

- Speed Mentoring, that puts together influential SAP leaders and aspiring female employees in order to build their skills and develop their careers;

- High Heeling, which aims to support employees in developing specific skills to grow their careers at SAP, through periodic meetings between mentors (from our Labs Leadership Team) and mentees;

- Go-Tech Girls, which fosters the presence of women in IT by bringing high school girls in contact with SAP women professionals to get to know more about careers in IT.

In 2016/01, the SAP Labs Latin America BWN brought Tanja Rueckert, Executive VP IoT & Customer Innovation for a BWN Talk Show and Letiere Moraes and Itatiaia Peralta, both SAP Labs employees in leadership roles for another BWN Talk Show. A Speed Mentoring Session was thrown for many colleagues and currently there are several employees developing themselves with the High Heeling Program.

We’re very proud to be driving and expanding our employees’ skills and career development, consequently enhancing the SAP’s reputation as an employer of choice.

*The Business Women's Network is an employee-driven network that focuses on attracting the most qualified women in the market and also motivating and retaining our female workforce by fostering personal and professional development.
