On Monday 15 September, 10 MBA graduates will join SAP via a brand new program called IMPACT which has been designed to develop the next-generation of leaders at SAP. Within the year, these MBA graduates will undertake 3 rotations within the business along with a social sabbatical. One of the rotations can be international, and some of the locations selected for the first rotation so far have been: Singapore, Sydney, Seoul, Shanghai amongst others!
The IMPACT team is hosting a Kick-Off event in Walldorf, Germany from Tuesday 16 September until Thursday 25 September to welcome these grads as SAP employees, provide them with the tools and knowledge to prepare them for their first rotation and of course to have some fun! Some of the exciting activities they will participate in will be:
·A Social Impact Challenge event – Two young, social entrepreneurs will pitch their business and a current challenge they are facing and the grads will have time to brainstorm and present back their ideas
·Visit to the SAP AppHaus Heidelberg to get an idea of how the space lends itself to creativity and also participation in a Design thinking workshop there
·Participation in a Regional Volunteering Day where the grads will be painting rooms at a charity for children in Heidelberg
·Watching Adler Mannheim take on HC Sparta Prague in ice hockey at the SAP Arena in Mannheim
·Sessions with Executives such as Simon Paris (President Industry Cloud), Irfan Khan (CTO of Global Customer Operations), Julie Roehm (Chief Storyteller, SVP Marketing) amongst others
