With Lumira 1.18 release, you can interact with Lumira Server and Cloud from your Windows 8.1 touch enabled devices including tablets or laptops using Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) browser.

On Windows 8.1 tablet, open IE11 from either Windows Metro or Desktop interfaces.

Type in the web address for Lumira Server or Cloud, and then provide your Lumira credentials.

On Windows 8.1 touch devices, the default Lumira mode is a simplified view mode, which is optimized for the mobile experiences.

To view a story, simply touch it, and then observe the story in the Lumira story viewer.

To view information on an existing dataset or a story, or to share it, use the context menu.

To be able to visualize data and compose a story, toggle a touch mode button located in the upper right corner, just to the left of Help link. It will enable additional features such as Create Dataset button and Edit context menu.

In the full mode, the experience is the same as if you are using a non-touch device, and touch actions are not fully supported, and the use of a mouse and a keyboard is required.

To go back to the view mode, simply touch the toggle button again.
