This is the second part of the blog Migrate Bullet Chart from Lumira VizPacker Utility to SAP Web IDE VizPacker Plugin - Part 1 where I present in detail how I ported the Bullet chart visualization extension from the Lumira VizPacker Utility to SAP Web IDE.

At the end of the first part of the blog we reached the point where the visual extension was ported to SAP Web IDE and is ready to be deployed from SAP Web IDE to SAP Lumira.

Deploying to Lumira

Click the "Pack" button.

The Bullet chart visualization extension package is downloaded.

To find where the deployment package is click the arrow and select "Show in Folder".

Launch SAP Lumira and select File > Extensions in order to get to the "Extensions Manager" screen.

Click the "Manual Installation" button to load the Bullet visualization extension.

In the file manager, go to the folder where the visualizatin package was downloaded to and select the visualization package.

The visualization extension appears in the Extension Manager, but in order for it to be available the SAP Lumira needs to be restarted.

After restarting SAP Lumira, select File > New and load the bullets.csv file.

From the Chart Extensions options, select the "Bullet Chart from Plugin" - If you recall, during the project creation in SAP Web IDE, in the "Visualization Extension Project" step of the wizard you filled in "Bullet Chart from Plugin" as the "Extension Name".

Drag & drop the relevant measures and dimensions to their respective locations.

Voila - The Bullet visual extension was ported to SAP Web IDE, deployed to SAP Lumira and is working properly!

Enjoy!
