Cemex, Mexico's multinational building materials supplier and cement producer, launched an Operations Control Center able to monitor and proactively streamline SAP's technology platform, which serves the company around the world. SAP says the complex enables the company to monitor 22 production systems and more than 18,000 users, located in different continents. The centralized monitoring tool 'SAP Solution Manager' counts on 128 automated alerts to timely address potential risks that directly affect users and the daily operation of the business. Furthermore, the Operations Control Center will track key parameters of system availability and performance of central processes. "Without a doubt, the implementation of this complex will improve the satisfaction of our employees and customers, increase operational performance, and provide flexibility when solving problems," said Eduardo Guerra, Information Technology & Processes VP at Cemex.
