If your company is in the Building Materials or Building Products space - I think you should consider attending this SAP industry event June 22-25 in Chicago.

This means these industries:

  • Cement and concrete

  • Bricks and tiles

  • Pottery and ceramics

  • Flat glass and windows/doors

  • Insulation and roofing materials

  • Gypsum and plasterboards

  • Fittings and pipes

  • Flooring materials

  • Furniture and kitchen

SAP hosting its second annual SAP Building Materials and Building Products event close to Chicago on June 23rd-25th in Lombard, IL.  The event is co-located with the SAP Manufacturing Forum.

The event will provide an open forum for companies to interact and network talking with top thought leadership companies in the Building Materials and Building Products industries as well as the top SAP leaders and experts in this space.  The six-hour Building Materials and Building Products workshop contains customer thought leaders and SAP experts speaking on a wide variety of important industry issues. Topics include how to create stronger customer engagement loyalty across all channels, how to produce profitable, reliable and compliant products by maximizing return on assets, and how to improve profits and responsiveness with visibility into the supply chain. In addition, companies can learn how the Internet of Things, cloud, in-memory computing, mobility, and analytics can help their company be more intelligently connected with customers, suppliers, and operations.  Additionally, the SAP Manufacturing Forum will include two more full days of customer case studies and innovation sessions  focused on cross-manufacturing industry issues including product design and planning, manufacturing and the customer and supply value chain.

Speakers Confirmed - including CIO of Johns Manville and IT Manager of Chicago Faucets talking about S/4HANA and Fiori

To date we have confirmed that the CIO of Johns Manville will speak as well as experts from Amcor Plastics and United Copper will also speak along with many other companies from a wide range of manufacturing industries.  We think this event rivals SAPPHIRE in terms of the networking and learning opportunities with similar industries and companies.

Feel free to send this to other colleagues you think might be interested and let me know if I can provide additional information.
