The core of this innovation is an intelligent digital building system that uses lean principles from the automotive industry to standardize designs and efforts where possible and spend more time on the customer facing activities.
Building houses is like Legos
This platform holds knowledge about all aspects of the building process from designs to materials to processes and documents. Many of the processes, approaches and material do not change from project to project. In fact, SWISS Property estimates that 80-90% of buildings come from same construction material. The platform holds all of this knowledge and they can use it to create new projects – a bit like legos. This saves time and money – and allows the company to put more value into the customers.
