MQA and Sintec, two SAP system integrators, jointly initiated the process of digitizing Plastilene for five years, with the objective of improving its production processes. Plastilene, a company with five factories in Colombia that produces plastics, food packaging, labels, and other laminated structures, decided to work with MQA, an important business partner of SAP, who, after 12 months of design, modeling, implementation and preparation, did the go-live phase. "We had an old system, with little capacity for development and growth. Plastilene was the first company in the group that made the full implementation and then our technology team advanced a comprehensive project to align with the other companies," said Rodrigo Restrepo, general manager of the company.
