When you have created your SAP Document Center trial account in the SAP HANA Cloud Platform and got used to upload and share files in your personal area …

… you may want to create so called “Corporate Repositories” where you can provide central information for all members of your account.

How do you do this?

(1) Go to the SAP HANA Cloud Platform cockpit -> Services -> SAP Document Center

Go to Service Configuration -> Configure SAP Document Center

Go to Repositories -> Corporate Content -> Create -> Enter Display Name for the new repository and set the Document Classification (This can be used for setting different security policies later on). The other options will be described in the next blog in detail.

Press “save”. Your repository is now created in the Document Service of the SAP HANA Cloud Platform and available for your users:

(2) Go to the SAP Document Center web app. Now you can see that there is a new entry „Corporate”. Click on “Corporate” to see the newly created corporate repository which in our case is called “Sales Material”. You can now easily drag and drop the material which you want to centrally provide to your users into the folder.

In the next blog, we will show you how you set access rights for your corporate repositories in the cloud.
