Recycle bin for the cloud edition

In the cloud we now offer a recycle bin for your documents. When you delete documents unintentionally or decide that you still need documents recently deleted you can now easily restore them.

New Windows Native Client

With SP5 we extend the list of supported mobile clients to include Windows Tablet and Windows Phone

Windows Phone client:

Access files from other apps (e.g. MS Office 365 apps) supporting Apple’s Document Provider extension

You can now access files from other applications supporting Apple’s Document Provider extension to open files and save them back in SAP Mobile Documents. You can also import documents directly to SAP Mobile Documents from other applications supporting Apple’s Document Picker. In the screenshots below you see this functionality used from within the Office 365 application.

Open a document in an Office 365 app from SAP Mobile Documents:

Save back into SAP Mobile Documents from an Office 365 app:

Swipe actions on iOS devices

We defined the most used actions as swipe actions. When swiping your finger now from right to left over a document you receive the option to enable the document for offline sync, to send or delete it.

Use Apple Watch to control presentations

Use the Apple Watch Mobile Documents app to control presentations.

Integration Scenarios with SAP Jam and SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

New members of the content network using SAP Mobile Documents are SAP Jam and SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). Benefits of the integration for SAP Jam is to be able to connect to back-end applications using end-to-end single sign-on. PLM is able to expose the files stored in the application to all connectivity points of SAP Mobile Documents including its ready-to-use clients.
