**Notice: The first webcast has been rescheduled to November 8th 8AM**
Today, we are moving to a mobile-oreinted wold. According to the infographic created by SAP Mobile Team, over 1.19 billion workers (around 34.9% of the global workforce) will use mobile technology by 2013 and 82 million people will use tablets by 2015. People see mobile as a new desktop, a preferred way to deal with information. With this change, Sanjay Poonen, president and corporate officer for SAP Global Solutions, blogged about his vision of the future where alarm clocks and calendars and coffee machines all talk to each other. In his post, he mentioned that it is a future where the Internet of Things (IoTs) and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) conversations are the social network of machine and man, making our lives more easier and productive. In addition, companies with mobile solutions have the ability to stream back a large amount of data to shorten sales cycles and respond to market needs faster.
With that, SAP Mobile Team has launched Thought Leadership Webcasts Series to help IT decision makers to learn today's evolving mobile landscape, business trends, and the knowledge of conceptualizing a mobile strategy suitable to meet your organizations current needs and future successes. Make the correct decision for your organization's future today. The series is host by Bill Clark, Global Vice President, Mobile Strategy at SAP and his peers. (Bill discussed about Business Benefits of Mobile on SAP TechEd Live. Watch the replay here.)
