Installing the Sybase Unwired Platform 2.2 for Android Devices

And I thought this was going to be simple.... 32 pages later and I think I've got it.

Here is my installation procedure for the Developer's Edition of the Sybase Unwired Platform 2.2 for Android Devices. The procedure creates a complete self-contained environment for developing android applications, including a private WiFi network between my laptop and my android device, as well as a local SQL Anywhere database which I use as a data repository.

With this environment, I can work away from the office and away from the internet and yet still deploy to an actual device instead of an emulator.
