There are many reasons to talk about mobile, big data, and machine to machine technology. According to a recent Accenture study, 65 percent of shoppers like to receive offers on their smartphones based on past purchases, while in-store. Surprisingly, however, 60% of best in class companies that already use mobile marketing, aren’t yet using customer behavior info to target and segment messaging throughout the mobile channel. Jason Oglesby, Director, Mobile Solutions Management sat down with Ian Thain, Mobile Evangelist, about how innovative brands can deliver personalized experiences, in the moment, by leveraging a ombination of big data, analytics and mobile technology. Mimi Spier, Senior Director, Business Analytics Solution Marketing, spoke with Nemrude Verzano, SAP, Demo Solution Expert about how McLaren takes control of the race using SAP analytics solutions. This is a really cool solution and there was an actual McLaren race car that was placed smack in the middle of the SAP booth at MWC.

Mimi also paired up with SAP Director of Product Marketing for Big Data, David Jonker in a Mobile Analytics - Experience insights like never before for you and your consumers session to outline the importance of mobile analytics in consumer and employee mobile apps.

A fantastic overview session, Monetizing M2M Services Requires Real-time Intelligence, was delivered by Deb Osswald, IDC, Research Vice President of Communications Service Provider Operations Growth in Machine-to-Machine (M2M). Together with David Jonker, she outlines solutions that will create a boom in Big Data analytics. M2M services will require CSPs to support multiple levels of intelligent decision making in real-time. Watch the interview to explore the intersection of M2M and Big Data analytics!

We have one more day to go, looking forward to tomorrow.
