Gartner’s annual Magic Quadrant report for Mobile Device Management was recently released, and we're pleased that the analyst firm positioned SAP as a Leader in this report (get a full copy of the report here). The report tracks the Mobile Device Management (MDM) market, and also takes a look at Mobile Content Management and Mobile App Security capabilities to address a company’s broad enterprise mobility management needs. SAP is also placed in the leader's quadrant of the Mobile Application Development Platform (MADP) magic quadrant, making us the only vendor leading in both critical areas.
According to the MDM Magic Magic Quadrant report:
- Growth in smartphones, tablets and BYOD is driving adoption of MDM
- Many companies see the MDM platform as the main tool to both implement and manage a mobile solution
- Leaders demonstrate balanced progress, effort and clout in all execution and vision categories
