When it comes to mobile security, many conversations over the past few years have centered on mobile device management. Today, these discussion are shifting to new security approaches like app wrapping, secure access to business content, risk-based management and improving the IT and end user experience. IT doesn't mean that MDM isn't important any more, but rather that security is more important than ever, and there are increasingly advanced ways to drive a robust mobile security strategy.

Did you know that....

  • The number of companies that allow employees to use personal devices at work is expected to rise to 90%
  • 80% of companies are planning to deploy customer-facing mobile apps within the next 12 months, while not all of the companies have the resources to securely wrap their apps

The mobile security market is becoming more important to companies as awareness of the risks are in the news every day. This pressure, along with the rise of BYOD is changing how companies manage their mobile device population.
