If you want to access your SAP Lumira stories on mobile device (iPAD) through SAP BusinessObjects Mobile 6.4, you may want to keep a few best practices in mind to get the optimum experience.

To learn what’s new as part of SAP BusinessObjects Mobile 6.4, refer to the blog: http://scn.sap.com/community/mobile/businessobjects/blog/2016/06/28/whats-new-in-sap-businessobjects...

6.4 mobile application is supported with both SAP Lumira Server for BI Platform (LS4BIP) 1.30 and 1.31. If your use case is offline access to Lumira story, you need to be on LS4BIP 1.31 version with the Mobile 6.4 application.

In 6.4 charts supported so far are - Bar, Column, Pie, Cross Tab charts, Numeric Point chart, Bubble chart, Line Chart, hence design your Lumira stories with these subset of charts to get the iOS native engaging experience while interacting with the charts.

You can refer to the Lumira samples when you are designing the stories in Lumira desktop, uploaded here https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1BOn0mAocesTUpEYWhSVVU3UjQ

Watch out for this space in SCN, as we upload more such samples.

We have also included these samples as part of the mobile application, to get a first-hand experience of interacting with the Lumira story in native mode.

By default in 6.4, Lumira stories open with iOS native charting experience, however since the charts supported natively so far are limited. If your use case involves a chart that’s not supported yet natively, you can change the default document view setting in mobile server client properties for HTML.

Steps to follow to change to HTML view:

1. Launch the SAP BusinessObjects Central Management Console (CMC)

2. Select Applications from the dropdown list.

3. Choose SAP BusinessObjects Mobile from the list that appears as shown in the screenshot below.

4. Choose Client Settings in the left panel.

5. Click + Add More...

6. Enter the parameter feature.lumira.view.mode and enter the value as Html as shown below.

If you are looking for more details with respect to what is supported in online and offline mode in 6.4, the details are also captured at the below Designer’s guide pg- 89 onwards. http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/boexir4/en/64_mobiOS_Repdesigner_en.pdf
