How to download the new SAP NetWeaver ABAP Trial 7.02 SP11 Win 64 bit Version with SAP NetWeaver Gateway 2.0 SP4
Based on the existing SAP NetWeaver ABAP Trial 7.02 SP11 Win 64-bit Version version we have created a load that also contains the AddOns of SAP NetWeaver Gateway 2.0.
After a first version that contained SP3 now also a download is available that contains the AddOns with SP4.

Select the download denoted as SAP NetWeaver ABAP Trial 7.02 SP11 Win 64 bit Version with Gateway 2.0 SP04 (3.552.153.445 bytes) as shown in the following screen shot.
For those that have no SAPGui available there is also a download for SAPGui denoted as "SAP NetWeaver ABAP Trial 7.02 SP11 WinGUI (112.183.715 bytes)".
How to configure SAP NetWeaver Gateway in the SAP NetWeaver 7.02 SP11 64 bit Application Server ABAP Trial Version
After you have installed the SAP NetWeaver ABAP Trial version you have to perform the following configuration steps in order to activate the Gateway installation:
Register user as a developer
When developing and generating OData services in SAP NetWeaver Gateway you need a user that is registered as a developer.As described in the documentation ..\gwtrial\NWABAPTRIAL70211_64_GW203\DOC\html\index.htm follow the instructions to create the user BCUSER and register the user as a developer.
Activate Gateway
The first step you have to perform is to activate SAP NetWeaver Gateway. To do so start transcation SPRO as described in the Online Help.
Activate ICF Services
As described in the Online Help you have to activate the ICF services.
Be sure to activate the service node /default_host/sap/opu including all the subservices maintained for it in SICF (Yes with tree icon).
Check Catalog Service
Check whether the catalog service rungs http://localhost:8000/sap/opu/sdata/IWFND/CATALOGSERVICE/?$format=xml
Create a SAP System Alias
In order to develop and publish services in SAP NetWeaver Gateway it is necessary that System Aliases are maintained that point to the connected backend systems. We have to do this for the local system as well. The procedure is described in the Online Help.
In the following screen select enter the following values:
Press Save and choose or create a customizing request
Test the Service
http://localhost:8000/sap/opu/odata/IWFND/RMTSAMPLEFLIGHT/?$format=xml
Please note:
The sample service was already registered in the backend and on the hub. Thus only alias assignement was necessary.
