SP Stack 04 for SAP NetWeaver Identity Management 7.2 Now Available

Support Package Stack 04 introduces an improved approval mechanism, which provides better performance and more functionality, as well as enhanced GRC and SAP Provisioning Frameworks. In addition, the functionality for viewing details about an assignment in the Identity Management User Interface has been improved. For detailed information, please refer to the Release Note. Get up to Speed: Enhanced Approval Functionality in SAP NetWeaver Identity Management 7.2 SP4

The latest Support Package for SAP NetWeaver ID Mgmt offers improvements in the approval process. For an overview of the enhanced functionality, read the tutorial about Creating Role Approvals, and the topics About Approval Processing and Creating Approval Tasks.

Please note that if you are upgrading your Identity Management solution from Release 7.1 to 7.2, this functionality is switched off by default; you can activate it manually. For more information on enabling and disabling the 7.2 approval mechanism, please refer to the documentation on Installing the Database (Microsoft SQL Server) or Installing the Database (Oracle). 17 April 2012
