I. The New Features of Enterprise Workspaces 1.1 SP2

Few weeks ago we have achieved a new and exciting milestone with the release of Enterprise Workspaces 1.1 SP2 to the market. This new release of Enterprise Workspaces provides substantial enhancement for our existing Enterprise Workspaces customers and for new customers who are evaluating Enterprise Workspaces to be implemented on-top of their existing SAP NetWeaver Portal foundations.

For those of you who are not yet familiar to Enterprise Workspaces: Enterprise Workspaces is an add-on solution for the SAP NetWeaver Portal providing casual users tools to quickly and easily create and share workspaces (one or more pages) while leveraging existing portal assets.

With Enterprise Workspaces 1.1 SP2, several new enhancements are provided like mobile representation of existing workspaces on tablets, using mobile web browser (only iPad devices are supported in this release). For more information see this blog which contains also a very interesting demo. Have also a look at this new presentation giving an overview of Enterprise Workspaces 1.1 and the new capabilities including the enhancements delivered with Support Package 1 and Support Package 2 of the product.
