How to Configure CUA (Central User Administration). Central
User Administration is set up in order to maintain all the users from central
location. In CUA the central system is called the Parent system and the
subsequent systems are called Child systems.

In order to configure CUA you have set the system to modifiable in SE03.

After the above changes please add the logical system
entries via BDLS. Add entries for child systems use the RFC destination of the
child system ex: E6TCLNT100 and description. Here E6T is the <SID> and we
want to connect to client 100 in E6T system, we can create similar entries for
all clients in the systems.

Now we have to create user, I am using cuaremote on both the
client systems E6V client 100 and E6T client 100 as system or communication
users.

Now we have to create an RFC destination on Parent system as
follows using SM59

Use the cuaremote user

Do an authorization test to make sure RFC is working fine

The Screen should look like this with not errors

Also create parent rfc destination A6PCLNT902 in parent
system  with cuaremote user

User the same user cuaremote

Authorization test

Create Model view through SCUA in the parent system

Maintain the system land scape and add the child systems

Now click on save and this will distribute the ALE config to
child systems

Now the CUA is distributed across the clients in child
systems. To make sure CUA is setup login into any child system and check su01
the create button should not exist there

Now that CUA is set up, the users master and address
information needs to be distributed to Parent system .This can be done via transaction  SCUG

Now user sync

All the user are transferred

Now it’s the time to distribute the roles through report
through SE38 RSCCUSND

Distribution of all the records in to child systems

The child system distributed

Now distribute to all child systems accordingly to your
landscape. After this you can assign the profiles and roles to all the child
system via the Parent system.
