openSAP, SAP’s Enterprise MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) provider, has successfully reached over 117k unique users within the last twelve months, delivering free online courses on SAP’s latest innovative topics to an unlimited number of participants. SAP has identified the need for an additional offering to satisfy the learning needs of specific target groups on a more detailed level and with a limited number of participants. To complement the existing openSAP offerings, the openSAP team is launching a new concept, Learning Rooms by openSAP.
Learning Rooms allow users to experience a similar experience to openSAP courses within an intimate setting. Learning Rooms by openSAP are hosted by SAP Jam, SAP’s enterprise social network solution.
Important elements of openSAP Learning Rooms are
- Limited number of participants
- Two-way learning – participants meet the experts but can also share their experiences and content
- Learning by doing – hands-on exercises
- Self-paced lectures, self-tests, Record of Achievement
The first Learning Room by openSAP runs from July 7 to July 25 and
is exclusively open to SAP Partners.
Rapid Implementation of Predictive Analytics with SAP HANA features the SAP Predictive Analytics Content Adoption rapid-deployment solution that allows customers to gain more control of SAP and non-SAP data with out of the box predictive analytics. SAP Partners will understand the scope of sample analytics included in this rapid-deployment solution, have the opportunity to take part in hands-on exercises and practice deploying back-end and front-end components. They will also learn how to adapt the solution according to custom requirements and create new content on top of the solution. This learning room acts as a scalable, effective and cost efficient alternative to the existing one day onsite workshop for SAP Partners.
As with all openSAP courses, there are no costs associated with registration, learning content, final test or Record of Achievement. Hands-on exercises will require an Amazon Cloud account and this will incur a small fee. Additional topics will be released later in 2014 by openSAP.
