In May 2013, SAP launched openSAP – its free open online course provider to enable the SAP Ecosystem in a flexible way. openSAP provides high-qualitative & free-of-charge Enterprise MOOCs on key SAP innovations  and there are currently 120,000 unique users subscribed globally. openSAP is accessible to anyone, at any time and on any device, all you need is an e-mail address to sign up.

openSAP courses are delivered in the style of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). Courses are typically six weeks duration with content released on a weekly basis. Content is delivered through video lectures, self-tests and weekly assignments. Participants can take part in discussions in openSAP’s dedicated forums where they can meet peers and SAP experts to discuss the course content and share experiences.

SAP is now launching an openSAP for China this September. The course content and system will be delivered in Chinese language. The first course on the new platform will be available in September and is entitled, “Get to know SAP's Innovative Enterprise Solutions”.
