HEC University Montreal and Baton Simulations have created ERPsim games to help students and users understand the power of a fully integrated SAP ERP system. ERPsim games provide a learn by doing approach where students act in the position of running their own business in a live SAP system. The games are usually played in a classroom environment where students are grouped together to act as a company. Students have the opportunity to carry out transactions while becoming familiar with SAP ERP in a practical setting. Topics in this course include sales and production, planning and procurement, and administration and troubleshooting.

With Facilitating ERPsim: Running Successful Business Simulation Games with ERPsim, a new course hosted on the openSAP platform*, members of the teams responsible for creating ERPsim games will provide you with insight into ERPsim and provide the initial steps to becoming a Certified ERPsim Facilitator. The course is open to everyone and users interested in learning about ERPsim are welcome to join the course; however, the course is aimed at university professional staff and corporate learning professionals interested in learning more about how ERPsim can enhance SAP training.

*This course is hosted by openSAP but the content is created and delivered by HEC Montreal and Baton Simulations. SAP accepts no responsibility for the content delivered in this course.
