Earlier this year, we launched our SAP HANA Core Knowledge Series and so far you've learned about Text Analytics with SAP HANA and High Availability and Disaster Recovery with SAP HANA. Are you ready for the next core knowledge installments? The series continues with two new courses: Big Data with SAP HANA Voraand SHINE Reference for Native SAP HANA Application Development.
SAP HANA Vora allows you to process enterprise and Hadoop data cost-effectively for real-time business applications and analytics by providing enterprise-class, drilldown insight into raw data. Big Data with SAP HANA Vorawill start on September 6 with an overview of SAP HANA Vora including Hadoop, Spark, Key features, and SDA and SAP HANA Connectivity. Once you’ve got to grips with the basics, we’ll move on to take a look at the data browser, SQL-Editor, and data modeler. In the final week, we’ll look at working with tables and views, loading different data types, working with hierarchies, as well as advanced topics such as partitioning and annotations.
SHINE (SAP HANA Interactive Education) was developed in 2013 to share information about SAP HANA and XS features and has grown from workshop training materials (aka SAP HANA Native Development Workshop) for SAP HANA developers. SHINE is the one and only official demo content for native SAP HANA development and it is updated and maintained with each SAP HANA SP. SHINE Reference for Native SAP HANA Application Development, is just 3-4 hours in total and will be available from October 5 until November 3. This course will provide you with a general overview of SHINE features, followed by a demo and deep dive into the major capabilities of SHINE, and ends with an introduction to SHINE for SAP HANA XS Advanced Model.
