Most of you have probably already heard quite a lot about SAP Operational Process Intelligence. But did you hear about Process Mining yet? Process Mining is a technique and a technology offering to enable organizations to uncover hidden secrets in their business processes, such as process performance bottlenecks and compliance violations. It enables root cause analysis for problems or process weak spots in cycle times or to detect unnecessary manual efforts in processes.
I am very excited that we recently reached an agreement to add the award winning (including the SAP HANA Innovation Award 2015) Process Mining software from the Germany-based start-up company Celonis to our portfolio. SAP Process Mining by Celonis is a highly innovative process transparency solution, powered by SAP HANA, perfectly complementing SAP Operational Process Intelligence to deliver on the promise outlined in the title of my webinar on November 5th: “How to achieve 100% business process transparency”!
During my session I will try to convey what Operational Process Intelligence and Process Mining is all about, how they differentiate from each other, how they complement each other and how to gain business value from using these solutions. I will show some demonstrations of SAP Operational Process Intelligence and SAP Process Mining by Celonis together in action for some “big processes”: Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay.
