Many blogs written before the migration of SCN (March 2012) are still sitting in user profiles. Blogs were not moved during migration to the new SCN spaces and the authors have to personally move them.
Why blogs were not moved? Mainly because, if you remember the old platform, every blog post could have been associated with up to 5 categories. There was no way for SCN teams to decide or a way to automate which blog goes to which new space exactly.
Moving your blogs benefits you and other community members because:
- Your blogs remain visible in your profile under your name, but your content will also "reside" in the right space for the right audience. This means more visibility, because you increase the chances that Community members see your content and rate, like, comment to provide you with feedback. You may have noticed the improvement to the SCN search. Users can narrow their search by SCN space now, also by date, author, etc. If you haven't already check it out:
- Anytime any SCN member comments on, likes or rates your blogs or other content, it gets pulled up in the “Recent activity” stream of the space overview page. It could also possibly get into the “Top rated” section.
- By keeping all your content into the correspondent space/s you also make sure you accrue your points in the correspondent expert category.
- Additionally, all SAP NetWeaver Process Orchestration (BPM, BRM and PI) blogs from our RSS feeds is automatically pulled into the official SAP NetWeaver Process Orchestration group on LinkedIn. This means even more reach and visibility for you. We already have 560+ members. Not a member yet? Feel free to join us also there.
So please take some time to check your 'old' content and move your blogs to the relevant space of the Process Orchestration node (or to other spaces as appropriate). You may want to also double check blogs you have written after the migration:

> Business To Business Integration
Blogs can generally only be moved from a user's personal space into a topic space.
To move your blogs, please first make sure you follow the correspondent space from its landing page: you will see the follow button on top-right. Then navigate to your profile > content tab and select “blogs” view. Then open a particular post and you should see the “Move” option into the "Actions" box at the right. After clicking on “Move” select the topic space you want to move this particular blog post into.
Unfortunately there is no batch move option at present (not planned any time soon either) and blogs should be moved one by one.
[Please note: following a space / user does not mean by default that you will get an email every time something new is posted. The ‘news’ will flow into your communications stream on SCN for you to review if and when you wish.]

Please remember to always create your future blogs and documents from the correspondent space for the reasons above. Plus you will help unify and grow our knowledge base and keep it lean
