Struggling with your evil HR director because you don't have 10 years of Java coding experience?

Want to improve on Java coding skills for PI/PRO developments but don't know where to start?

Overwhelmed with frequent PI/PRO requirements which require complex Java developments?

Tired of repeatedly having to copy-and-paste the same block of logic for each new development?

Worried that a code change might unintentionally affect existing scenarios or functionalities?

If you have ever pondered upon any of these (with the exception of your evil HR director!), come and join me at SAP TechEd Barcelona this year as I host a Community Session exploring best practices to Enhance Productivity for Java Development in SAP Process Orchestration.

It will be a lecture-styled session peppered with loads of practical tips and some demos. I will be sharing some of the best practices that I have picked up over the years as a PI/PRO developer. In particular, it will revolve around techniques and tools meant to improve productivity when dealing with custom Java development for PI/PRO. Highlights of the items that will be covered are:-

  • Modularisation techniques for coding
  • Release the power of Object Oriented Programming by using Design Patterns
  • Explore Eclipse productivity tools like EGit and JUnit

The session code is INT211, and you can also check out the rest of the sessions at Barcelona in the following link.

SAP TechEd Barcelona | November 08-10, 2016 | Home

This will be my first time ever at a TechEd conference so I'm also really excited at the opportunity to meet face-to-face and network with fellow SAP community members.

Be there or be square!
