You already run SAP Process Orchestration? You want to step into SAP Process Orchestration?

Then the book SAP Process Orchestration - The Comprehensive Guide by John Mutumba Bilay and Roberto Viana Blanco, both experienced consultants in the area of SAP Process Integration (SAP PI) and SAP Process Orchestration (SAP PRO), with a foreword by Michal Krawczyk, SAP mentor and author of various SAP PI books himself, is a must-read to get on track with SAP PRO.

As the title suggests, it gives you a comprehensive overview of SAP PRO covering all aspects that help you tackling an integration project from planning, design, implementation, and operation: chapters about landscape architecture, installation options, system setup, designing and implementing interfaces and processes, proxy development, configuration, administration, monitoring, etc.

For those of you who plan to migrate from an SAP PI dual stack system to SAP PRO, two chapters are dedicated to the migration topic: migrating interfaces and ccBPM to BPM migration.

Besides this, the authors spent a large portion on sharing their experiences providing best practices and recommendations as well as step-by-step examples.

Finally, the book closes with an outlook into other integration topics such as SAP API Management, SAP HANA Cloud Integration (HCI), and Integration Advisor. By the way, John announced that he has already started to work on a new book on HCI together with two colleagues of mine from SAP. So, stay tuned.

Hope this made you curious. So, here's the link where you can order the book:

Before you ask. No, I don't get any credit in advertising the book, not a single dime. I'm more than happy that John and Roberto took the time to complete the book, and I would assume that they spent a lot of their spare time on it. So, many thanks for dedicating so much time and effort to this project. If you ask me, it has been well spent.
