Learn how both technologies can be combined to provide simple, scalable, secure, and unified access for APIs provided by SAP Process Orchestration. SAP HANA Cloud Platform, API management works with existing technologies, making them available for modern devices and channels without requiring any change to existing infrastructure, and adding value through capabilities such as throttling, quota, analytics, caching, and mashup.

Prerequisite
As usually, you will have your own SAP Process Orchestration system running on the laptops provided to you during the hands-on sessions. The SAP HANA Cloud Platform, API management however runs in the cloud. You will use your own SAP HANA Cloud Platform trial account to access the API Management service. If you haven't done so far, you can register now at Cloud Cockpit.
No worries, you can also register during the session itself since the creation of a new account will take only a couple of minutes. Looking forward to seeing you at the venue.

- Importing and maintaining an existing API proxy in SAP HANA Cloud Platform, API management consuming a web service provided by SAP Process Orchestration
- Creating a new API proxy based on a web service provided by SAP Process Orchestration, and adding REST and JSON capabilities
- Creating a new RESTful service on SAP Process Orchestration
- Creating a new API proxy based on the REST service, and adding API key, authentication, caching, and quota capabilities
