In May, SAP released a new rapid-deployment solution designed for Chinese customers: SAP GTS for Trading in China rapid-deployment solution.
This solution provides a template to localize comprehensive trading business from the perspectives of logistics and compliance. These business processes include pre-trading contract creation, domestic procurement with export management, stock shipment with import management, returns processing for trading contract, debit or credit memo processing with trading contract, and China tax refund. SAP Global Trade Services conducts legal control, risk control, and customs management through the entire trading process. The solution offers preconfigured, ready-to-run functionality for import and export businesses and China localization, including letter-of-credit management, import, and export declaration, and China tax refund.
