It's that time of year again, a time for new beginnings and the self-improvement process. I'm talking, of course, about the beloved New Year's resolutions.

In fact, I recently came across one study that even compiled a top 10 list of the most common New Year's resolutions and explained just how popular the idea is around the world. Not surprisingly, the top 10 resolutions include many of the classic health related goals (such as staying fit and healthy), which may contribute to the significant drop off of success (more than one third of resolutions are given up within a month).

But then there are some other resolutions on the list that stood out even more: #2 Get Organized; #3 Spend Less, Save More; and #6 Learn Something Exciting. SAP's Best Practices? are designed precisely to help facilitate these types of resolutions. They are a very organized and structured set of guides which enable deployment and configuration of key SAP solutions. And by following the best blueprint for these implementations (everything from SAPA HANA to SAP Fiori to SuccessFactors, etc.), SAP customers save more and free themselves to focus on the innovation that comes so much more effectively once world class solutions are in place that allow anyone to "run simple."

And last but certainly not least, SAP wants customers to learn something exciting. That is what openSAP is all about. In fact, the new and improved openSAP course Rapid Deployment of SAP Solutions will begin January 27, 2015 and is open to all. It will include demos and case studies on how to quickly adopt SAP ERP powered by SAP HANA, SAP HCM and SuccessFactors, Big Data, Customer Engagement & Commerce, SAP User Experience, and more. And this is just the beginning, look for even more exciting openSAP courses throughout 2015.

Here's to SAP Best Practices, Rapid Deployment Solutions, and openSAP courses helping 2015 be a year of New Year's resolutions we can all keep. Happy New Year!
