It's that time of year again. The time where those of us in the United States look forward to a nice long weekend of food, family, and fun. Awww, Thanksgiving! We here on the SAP Activate team have so much to be thankful for, not the least of which are our amazing customers and partners. Thank you for your feedback and thank you for being part of the journey of SAP Activate as the innovation adoption framework for SAP's nextgen business suite: SAP S/4HANA. Fun fact: back when we introduced SAP Activate six months ago, we referred to it as the S/4HANA "consumption experience." And now that it's Thanksgiving time, I can't help but think, "Mmm... consumption experience. Does that include a pecan pie?" But I digress. The point is, unlike the consumption experience of Thanksgiving that -- while delicious -- is still pretty short lived, SAP Activate has been designed from the ground up to do so much more.
Yes, we want you to be able to consume the good stuff inside S/4HANA as quickly and efficiently as possible. But beyond that, think of SAP Activate as your personal assistant always there to help you persistently take advantage of the innovation possible within S/4HANA. Does it include best practices for how to start fresh, convert, or transition to S/4HANA? Yes, yes, and yes. But it also includes model companies, methodology, and more. It even includes a new guided configuration that basically manages your content lifecycle for you and logs, tracks, and checks every piece of configuration happening to the system.
So you see? Less consumption experience and more innovation adoption framework that you can come back to time and time again even after that initial implementation (consumption) is done. Think of it as a pecan pie that is always there to enjoy even after you eat it! As the saying goes, have your pie (or was that cake?) and eat it too.
