At the end of each year the newest models of our favorite products are announced, highlighting new innovations that offer better capabilities, efficiency, and technology. And what better example than a universal favorite: the car. As we wrap up 2015, the automotive industry continues to launch exciting innovations that help you get from point A to point B as efficiently and safely as possible, a big goal that is shared by the software industry too! To achieve this, automotive manufacturers embrace new technologies for fuel efficiency showcased by hybrid or pure electric cars entering the market, like the Tesla model S. With a high fuel efficiency, the new Tesla attracts customers looking for the ultimate combination of style and comfort with a minimal environmental impact. The result? High overall ratings by drivers and consumer advocates alike.

Ratings from Consumer Reports across car categories are influenced by efficiency, and we can see that the most highly rated cars frequently also sport high fuel efficiency ratings. Similar to the auto industry, increasing efficiency is also critical in the software industry. For SAP and our customers who leveraged SAP Best Practices and rapid-deployment solutions (RDS) in their projects, 2015 was a year to celebrate with high satisfaction ratings across all categories of SAP solutions.

Over 850 SAP users, from more than 100 countries throughout the globe, shared their feedback in an ongoing survey that revealed a strong trend of continued satisfaction, with an average satisfaction score of 8 on a scale of 0 – 10.

“SAP RDS’s are the best invention since sliced bread”, wrote one survey participant. And the proof is in the positive results shown here. Like many car drivers, SAP users seek reliability, safety, acceleration, and efficiency, all of which can be realized with SAP Best Practices.

What SAP Best Practices provide:

SAP Best Practices allow you to use expert content and automated configuration settings that provide a prescribed yet flexible template for best business and IT practices. In short, SAP Best Practices help you:

1. Accelerate the deployment of SAP innovations - from start to finish with reduced cost and effort.

2. Safeguard project success with a tested and proven solution design and approach.

3. Ensure you deploy the best business process or IT practice within SAP’s cloud and on premise solutions.

In fact, survey results show that 70% of participants reported significantly accelerated projects, and that these savings applied to both proof-of-concept  (POC) and development/production systems.
