Maintaining high quality data within both public and private cloud-based platforms becomes a much bigger issue for today’s CIO. Information may now be shared across various solutions across the enterprise (ie Cloud, Hybrid) and that information needs to be replicated and distributed without causing a detrimental data quality impact or hinder the business processes. If one process is running a light speeds while the other is running batch jobs companies won’t realize the full potential of your real-time business enterprise. Planning the right enterprise information management is an important step to achieving accurate, valid and timely access to information. In order to fully realize the benefits of cloud computing, CIOs should explore newer data integration strategies, approaches and technologies.
Customers today interact with companies in a lot of different ways, using a variety of technologies, often simultaneously. Cloud and On-Premise applications build the platform to support the multi-channel customer experience. For example, critical customer information like name and email is required to purchase on the online store, download a white paper and access technical support. By decoupling data sources and destinations, applications are less process- interdependent, enabling downstream applications to better meet the data delivery and quality demands of the business.
