I. BrightTalk - Top 5 Marketing Webinars in 2013
"Before the year comes to an end, we'd like to announce the winners of our top 5 webinars in the marketing community based on number of viewings, positive feedback and content rating."
The top webinar providers were: Marketo, BrightTalk, IBM and MarketingXLerator.
MarketingXLerator came in as number four in this competitive line up with the roundtable: Does B2B Social Media Marketing Work? It features social media pros Behind the Scenes: Audrey Stevenson from SAP, Neil Blecherman from Intel, Perrine Crampton from Citrix, and Dev Crews, now at Citrix.
II. Top Marketing Book Authors on Twitter
This list is compiled by Kent Huffmann, CEO at BearCom and publisher of SMM Magazine.
Kent writes:
"These are the top 100 marketing book authors around the world who were active on Twitter as of December 30, 2013. Although it's organized by number of followers, inclusion on this list is determined by a proprietary algorithm I developed while writing my latest book. Lee Odden writes:
"Three years ago I read an article on ClickZ listing “social media rock stars” and while I was honored to be listed, there were very few women on it. I published a blog post with a list of 25 women from my own network that were rocking the social web and a meme was born.
This year’s list includes a diverse group: brand marketers, consultants and PR pros. Plus others that are doing work where social media plays a significant factor (like fundraising for good causes)."
