Editor's note: this is a guest blog by SAP's Sameer Patel, Global VP and GM of Social & Collaborative Software.

Today, there are many untapped opportunities to revise the value proposition for organizations that want to understand how social strategies can enhance their business performance. After three months in my current position at SAP, I’m excited to kick-off Project Robus, which focuses on developing the next generation of social software products that bring data, process, people and content together to drive performance for our customers. Our vision moving forward is organized around three goals:
With these three key goals in mind, SAP has the ingredients to drive operational and financial performance for our customers—truly putting the “Business” back in Social Business.
