To quickly qualify the opportunity, he creates a new opportunity in SAP Cloud for Customer and adds a new SAP Jam group. He invites a cross-functional team consisting of an account executive, a product manager, and an external consultant to join the group.
The sales rep posts questions about the RFP document in SAP Jam and asks his virtual team members to review them. The team responds to his questions from whatever their preferred interface is - SAP Cloud for Customer, SAP Jam, or the mobile app for SAP Jam. The sales rep then reads the team's answers on the home feed of his CRM application and uses them to prepare the RFP.
