Let’s have a brief look at day two of SAPPHIRE NOW and ASUG Annual Conference in Orlando. SAP co-CEO Jim Hagemann Snabe opened the day by describing how society, business, and technologies have evolved over time and he also provided an outlook into the future. After that Lars Dalgaard, founder and CEO of SuccessFactors, and Member of the SAP Executive Board, took over and impressively demonstrated how things can be done in a brief time frame if you are really really really really really passionate about something.
The attendees that came out of the keynotes seemed to be refreshed and ready to absorb more of the tremendous information and innovation that is out there at the show floor. The SAP Active Global Support Center was definitely heating up. Our six knowledge tables were pretty packed. Customers were discussing the complete support offering with our experts. It was great to see how many questions were asked and how much interest was shown. Support is not just a commodity, it’s a differentiator. But I don’t want to overdo it, just check out this picture taken today at our knowledge tables:
I'd say this picture speaks for itself. So please remember, tomorrow is the last chance to visit us onsite at the event! Besides the intensive discussions we have also had some great microforum sessions today. All were well perceived by our clients but Matthias Melich (Solution Management) and Helmut Fieres (Development) probably set this year’s AGS Center record with their sessions on SAP Solution Manager. Around 70 people attended their first presentation and approx. 100% (based on my guesstimation) were thrilled and well entertained.
